State Diamond Trading Preparation & Evaluation
CS Diamonds (Pty) Ltd provides a dedicated and fully compliant viewing service for the State Diamond Trader in respect of the statutory 10% selection of Run-of-Mine diamond production.
As part of this service, CS Diamonds facilitates the secure submission, handling, preparation, and presentation of qualifying diamond parcels on behalf of approved producers, ensuring that the State Diamond Trader is afforded the opportunity to inspect and select the prescribed portion of production in accordance with South African diamond legislation.

Buyer Services & Access
CS Diamonds provides licensed diamond buyers with access to extensive assortments of rough diamonds across a wide range of sizes and qualities.
Buyers are offered viewing appointments within secure and well-equipped facilities, ensuring a professional and confidential evaluation environment. Throughout the viewing and tender process, all diamonds are stored under strict security protocols and handled in accordance with established industry best practices.

Rough Diamond Evaluation
Each parcel of rough diamonds is carefully sorted, cleaned, and evaluated by experienced in-house specialists according to size, colour, and clarity.
Following evaluation, a comprehensive report is issued allocating a USD value to each parcel. The total value represents the estimated market value and serves as the insured value while the goods remain in our custody.

Rough Diamond Deep Cleaning
For producers seeking to enhance the presentation of their diamonds, CS Diamonds offers an optional deep-cleaning (“boiling”) service at a nominal fee of R500 per tender.
This process improves the overall appearance of the diamonds and may enhance their potential selling value during tender.
